2. Riverdale (2-0): QB Dillon Woodruff (144 yards, 3 TDs) breaks out in victory at Louisville Ballard.

3. Brentwood Acad. (1-1): Rebound win vs. Maplewood sets up key DII-AA home game with MBA on Friday.

4. Mt. Juliet (2-0): Golden Bears score 24 straight points to end 45-14 win vs. McGavock.

5. Siegel (2-0): Stars outscore first two opponents 102-7; open 7-AAA play at Blackman Friday.

6. Beech (2-0): Jalen Hurd’s 451 rushing yards, third-best in state history, lead win at 5A champion Henry County.

7. Giles Co. (2-0): Bobcats haven’t allowed a point while outscoring opponents 72-0.
