The band boosters are so thankful for all of the support we’ve been given this season at the concessions stand at White House City Park during the football season. Thankful for the opportunities it gives band students, a program that enriches their education through music. For some students, the band program is their means to achieving their dreams, furthering their education, and opening the door to college. For others, it’s broadened their thinking, strengthened math skills, increased test scores, and switched their focus from “me, to us”. All of these, we feel will pay off in their adult years.
To show our appreciation, we will be donating a portion of our earnings from the playoff game this Friday (against Chester County) to the American Red Cross, for clean up efforts from hurricane Sandy. There will also be donation containers on the counter for those wanting to donate. That which is collected in the containers will be donated 100%. Many heartfelt thanks to you all.
