Ricky Ladd won the 2005 Mr. Football Award for Class 3-A Back of the Year. Ladd became the all-time leading rusher and total offense leader in school history. The former transfer student made his varsity football debut for White House as a sophomore in 2003, when White House defeated Maplewood on the road, 22-0, in week four.
White House won the 1997 Class 3-A State Championship. Maplewood lost the 2011 Class 4-A State Championship Game to Greeneville, and the 2007 Class 4-A State Championship Game to Maryville.
White House and Maplewood were together in Region 6-4A from 2001-2004, but in separate divisions. The two teams only played twice in four years, and Maplewood went 0-10 in both 2003 and 2004.
