In his third season at Maplewood, coach Arcentae Broome is using a different offensive approach to try to get the Panthers through the Class 4A football playoffs. Maplewood (7-4) will travel to White House (6-5) for a second-round playoff game at 7 p.m. Friday in a rematch of a 2011 quarterfinal that the Panthers won 31-0.
