Coach Porter named to Toyota Classic West coaching staff

White House head coach Jeff Porter has been named to the coaching staff for the 2012 Toyota East vs. West Tennessee All-Star Classic, to be played Saturday, December 8th, at Overall Field. Kickoff is 1 p.m. on the campus of Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville. (Visit the official fan page on Facebook).

Porter is part of the West coaching staff, put together by head coach Kevin Creasy of Trousdale County. He is joined by Sumner County’s Anthony Crabtree of Beech, who is the offensive coordinator. Porter is an assistant coach.

After completing his 26th season as the head coach of the Blue Devils in 2012, Porter has a career head coaching record of 230-96. White House finished 7-6 and advanced to the Class 4-A quarterfinals and won the District 9-AA championship title. His teams have made the playoffs 21 years in a row and been to the postseason 25-of-26 years. He has never had a losing season.
