The White House High School football family and community would like to extend its thoughts and prayers to Lipscomb Academy and the family of head coach Glenn McCadams. The coaching veteran passed away Thursday morning following complications of cancer surgery.

Coach McCadams ranks among the state bests with 319 career wins and was the Lipscomb football coach for the last 31 years. White House is 10-8 all-time against David Lipscomb (now Lipscomb Academy) with an 8-7 record against Coach McCadams. The Mustangs were also an annual scrimmage opponent each fall for the Blue Devils after the team’s last official meeting in 2000. The two teams are scheduled to play in week three of the regular season in 2013.

Coach McCadams and Lipscomb broke the longest winning streak in White House High School history with a 28-27 win at White House in overtime in 1998, snapping a 21-game run of consecutive victories for the defending 1997 state champions.
