Portland Leader: Panthers crushed by Devils offense

WHITE HOUSE – A simple look at the stats for Friday night’s game between Portland and White House would make it obvious the Blue Devils won the 45th meeting between the two schools. In posting a 31-0 shutout victory over the Panthers, the Blue Devils rolled up over 350 yards and averaged nearly six yards per rush play. Five of their possessions went for nine plays or more.

“White House did dominate from start to finish,” PHS coach Traye Aric said afterwards. “As the game went along, White House played with more heart, desire and momentum than we did and they wanted to win. We just didn’t compete tonight.”…READ MORE
