NASHVILLE — According to senior offensive tackle Wyatt Bailey, the White House High football team often wins the coin toss before its game. “Typically, we defer,” Bailey said. “It felt good to get the ball, to set the momentum for the entire game.”
The Blue Devils did just that and were never threatened on Thursday evening, rolling to a 26-7 win over cross-town rival White House Heritage in a game played at Vanderbilt Stadium. “It feels amazing to be here in this atmosphere and to be able to line down against these guys,” Bailey said. “They are a great team.
