Mark Lamberth has been a White House Blue Devil nearly all of his life, and begins his 22nd season coaching football, serving as the offensive and defensive line coach and coordinator of the scout team. He also works with special teams and kickers.

A 1992 graduate of Western Kentucky University, Lamberth has a B.S. in Physical Education and Masters of Arts in Education, with an M.S. plus-30 in 1995. He teaches personal finance, a required course for graduation, at WHHS. He and Jackie have been married 24 years, and sons Jacob and Chance have both been football players for the Blue Devils. Chance is a freshman at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and Jacob graduated this spring from Vanderbilt University.

As a player for the Blue Devils himself, Lamberth was a four-year district champion in the 1980s as an offensive and defensive lineman, then was a standout offensive lineman as a Hilltopper. He is one of three former players who are full-time or volunteer assistants at WHHS and has been on the staff longer than any other assistant.

Lamberth moved to White House with his family in 1981. His father Roy, a pastor, church planter and missionary, has been an influential servant in the White House community for over 33 years, and still greets the coaches walking through the gates each Friday night at Dewey H. Whitson Stadium.

Lamberth also coaches boys soccer at WHHS for the past 22 seasons and has elevated the soccer program for the Blue Devils to among the best in the state, finishing in the state tournament the last three years. Lamberth also serves as the wrestling coach, taking over the program in 2012, and the wrestling team made the state tournament for the first time in school history with a fifth place finish in 2013-14.
