Offensive Line, Defensive Line and Defensive Ends
Coach Cory Willoughby is entering his third season as an assistant coach for the White House Blue Devils.
Willoughby coached for two years at WHMS and taught seventh grade world history through 2015, but last year moved to White House High School as a teacher as well as an assistant coach, and teaches history.
He is a former standout high school lineman at Gallatin High School and played four years at Cumberland University, where he graduated with a bachelor of science in history and geography in 2014 and a Masters of Education in 2014.
As a Green Wave athlete, he was all-region and all-county and a senior captain, and won the offensive line award his junior and senior season. One of his high school coaches was Mike Settle, who is the defensive coordinator at White House.
Willoughby learned of the position at White House Middle School while attending the wedding of a friend a few years ago, and married his wife Lindsey, who is from White House. They have been married for four years and have a two-year-old son, John Michael.
He coaches the offensive line and defensive lines, and defensive ends, and assists with the equipment operations of the Blue Devils.
