Tennessean: WH defense stands out to stay unbeaten

By Tom Kreager for The Tennessean

White House’s defense stood out Friday night in a 42-7 rout of Hunters Lane.

Seth Bumbalough picked off two passes, returning both for touchdowns. Bumbalough’s two picks were part of five for the game for the Blue Devils (3-0).

White House’s Preston Sharber picked off two passes and blocked a punt, finishing with four tackles.

The Blue Devils gave up just 156 yards in the game.

White House’s undefeated start comes a season after the Blue Devils went 0-10 a year ago.
