Dear Blue Devil Faithful,
Greetings! On behalf of our football program, we would like to thank you for your support this season.
With that in mind, we would like to make a special request. We want to invite every Blue Devil Fan that you can share this email with to attend our last regular season home game this Friday night, October 20th, as we play host to Montgomery Central. Friday night is also Senior Recognition night at 7:15. Our 2017 football seniors will be introduced “FOR THE FINAL TIME.”
We are inviting the Blue Devil Nation to be in the stands as 7:15 for the Senior Introductions. We have two Senior players, Ezra Bates and Landon Deming, who have already taken their oath to serve in the military. Both young men will be leaving next summer right after graduation as they will begin serving our country in the United States Marine Corps.
These two young reflect the values of this Senior football class as this group has taught us all about being unselfish. They have truly prepared and played for someone else or the guy beside them all year.
At half time of the football game, we will recognize the White House Middle School Blue Devils and Coach Brian Wise.
It is our hope to fill the stands with the Big Blue Nation to honor our Seniors in the pregame ceremony and have you there as the 12TH MAN to cheer on our football team. The fans are important to this team. Please come out as we recognize our Senior class for the “FINAL TIME” and cheer on the Blue Devils.
Coach Jeff Porter
P.S. Revolution Church is our Sack-for-Cash sponsor for the 2017 season. They have pledged $25 per sack to the football program, but also are matching their donations to the Hope Center White House. Friday, we will partner with Revolution Church to host a food drive prior to the game at both entrance gates. Please bring donated food items – including household or paper goods – to the barrels at each gate and our goal for the event is 5,000 items. The items will be delivered to the Hope Center Food Bank next week. Thank you for serving others less fortunate in our community and truly showing Blue Devil Pride.
