Middle School Basketball: Knox Doss sweeps White House

HENDERSONVILLE – The White House Lady Devils lost their first basketball game of the season Thursday in a heartbreaking, 25-24 defeat at the hands of Knox Doss at Drakes Creek on the road.

The game came down to the final eight seconds but Knox Doss was able to pull out the victory. It was Knox Doss first win (1-3) and White House first loss (3-1).

It was a tough night for the White House Middle School boys, who fell 57-22 to the Mustangs. White House fell to 1-3 for the season and Knox Doss leads the Sumner County Middle School conference standings at 4-0, tied with Station Camp and Ellis.

The unbeaten Hunter Lady Bucs roll into White House on Monday, Nov. 20th at 5:30 p.m. with the boys game following. Hunter boys are 2-2. White House will be off next Thursday for Thanksgiving.
