NASHVILLE – The White House Lady Devils continued to see postseason honors roll in on Thursday as four players were awarded with all-state honors and the coach was tabbed with the highest award in the state from the Tennessee High School Soccer Coaches Association.

Coach Mike Felzien was honored as the 2017 THSSCA Division I Class AA Coach of the Year, after leading White House from an 0-4-1 start to an unbeaten run following it to the state championship. It was the first state title for any female sports team at WHHS in just the third state tournament appearance for the Lady Devils.

In addition, four players were named the THSSCA Division I Class AA All-State Team: senior defender McKenzie Vaughn, junior midfielder Mazie Burrow, junior midfielder Leanna Nesbitt, and senior forward Maddie Davis.

Three players from White House competed in the THSSCA All-Star Game at the first of November. Midfielder Mallory Humphries and forwards Davis and Madeline Hargrove were members of the 2017 East team, coached by Wendy Howe of USN.

Congratulations to the Lady Devils on their accomplishments and an outstanding season. For the full team, see the image from https://twitter.com/THSSCA below:
