Basketball: WH boys sweep at Beech, girls fall in opener

HENDERSONVILLE – The White House boys moved to 4-0 for the season with an impressive Saturday at the Hall of Champions Classic at Beech High School.

White House throttled Hendersonville Christian, 87-37, then beat site host Beech, 84-78. The Blue Devils held a two-point lead in the final minute and closed the game at the free throw line.

The White House ladies fell 76-26 to Beech in their season opener.

Both teams play at home Tuesday at 6 p.m. against Gallatin.
