Basketball: White House Middle boys break skid, defeat Rucker-Stewart

GALLATIN – The White House Middle School boys have struggled through the first part of the 2017-18 basketball season, but righted the ship Monday night with a 40-27 victory over Rucker-Stewart on the road.

White House (2-6) had not won since November 9th, and broke a five-game skid. The Blue Devils return home Thursday, Dec. 7th, to face Portland East.

The tough luck continued for the girls team with a fifth straight loss, falling 41-35 to the Lady Rams. White House started the season 3-0 and has dropped five straight. The ladies also play Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at home against Portland East.
