Basketball: Middle School girls back to .500 with win over Shafer

GALLATIN – The White House Middle School girls basketball team fought its way back to .500 for the season with an 18-11 win over Shafer Middle School Monday night.

The Lady Devils are 5-5 with a home matchup against Portland West on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. The Lady Panthers are 0-9 for the year. White House is tied for sixth in the Sumner County Middle School Conference with Station Camp and Shafer.

The White House boys fell to 2-8 with a 31-15 loss and are tied with Portland West in 8th. The two teams play Thursday after the girls game.
