The White House FFA Novice Parliamentary Procedure team recently bested other district champions from around Middle Tennessee to win the sub-region and region championships.  The team will compete for state honors at the state FFA convention to be held in Gatlinburg.

The competition requires a team to demonstrate their knowledge of the FFA opening ceremonies and parliamentary procedure. The team conducts a mock meeting before a panel of judges and answers questions based on the presentation. A test on parliamentary procedure is also part of the contest.  Team members are: Sharkara Partinger, President; Mathais Hagewood, Vice President; Jennifer Poole, Secretary; Kaylie McKissick, Treasurer; Casey Epting, Reporter; Riley Keller, Sentinel; and Jacob Jenkins, Student Advisor.

Their FFA advisor and coach Mike Akridge said he believes that this team has the potential to walk away with the state championship if they continue to work hard.
