WHITE HOUSE – The most exciting opponent of the season holds a two-game edge combined against the White House Blue Devils as the Sycamore War Eagles make a return trip to White House Tuesday to finish this season’s home and home meetings in District 9-AA.

The games will be broadcast live on Facebook at White House BDP, however since this is a home game, there will be no live commentary, just gym audio, as the White House BDP Network individuals are helping with other responsibilities during home games at WHHS. Friday’s away game at Greenbrier will be a full broadcast.

Sycamore swept White House in boys and girls action in December, but it was not without a fight as both games came down to a game-tying shot that fell short for the Blue Devils several times in the final minute. The Lady Devils played perhaps their best game of the season and fell short in a massive comeback, while the boys lost a late lead and let the game slip away.

Sycamore girls (10-9, 2-3) come in on a four-game losing streak, but defeated White House 59-56 on December 8th. White House is 2-13 (0-6) and has lost six in a row.

The War Eagles are 4-12 overall in boys play, but 3-2 in District 9-AA wins over Cheatham County, Westmoreland and an 83-80 victory over White House. The Blue Devils (11-9, 2-4) are in bad need of a district win, losing three of their last four games after starting the season 4-0 overall.

White House goes to Greenbrier on Friday at 6 p.m.
