White House junior tailback Ranen Blackburn hit a career milestone Friday night in. 48-24 loss at Springfield.
With 21 carries for 158 yards, Blackburn completed his fourth 100-yard rushing game of the season and surpassed the 2,000-yard mark for career rushing totals.
Blackburn had 104 his freshman season, 1,310 his sophomore year and now has 656 for his junior campaign. He has scored 22 touchdowns rushing and 138 career points scored overall.
Ranen Blackburn is the 14th back to accomplish this feat in White House history, and next up on the rushing totals for Blackburn is Justin West at 2,120 and Tony Watson at 2,171. Only six tailbacks have reached the 3,000-yard mark, and only three have made it to 4,000.
