Farm Bureau TN: Montrel Black Named Player of the Week (5)

Montrel Black, junior tailback and defensive lineman for the White House Blue Devils, was named the Farm Bureau Tennessee Player of the Week for Week 5 of the high school football season by local agent Tal Plumlee in White House.

Black had 16 carries for 129 yards and two touchdowns, including runs of over 20, 30 and 40 yards in the game. It was his second career and second season 100-yard game.

For the season, he has 48 carries for 303 yards and 3 TD and is second on the team in rushing. Defensively he has 16 tackles with four tackles for losses and a sack.
