Junior quarterback Ranen Blackburn of White House scored the eventual game-winning touchdown on a seven-yard run in overtime Friday night over Portland.
Blackburn’s run tied the game at 31-31 and teammate Bryson Harper connected on the PAT to give the Blue Devils a one-point win.
With the big game, Blackburn moved into 12th all-time in career rushing at White House High School, passing Tony Watson. He now has 2,364 yards rushing in his career, and notched his 11th 100-yard game and fourth 200-yard game.
Blackburn finished with 27 carries for 224 yards and and two touchdowns, and completed 7-of-12 passes for 106 yards and a touchdown.
He now has 24 career rushing touchdowns.
