WHITE HOUSE – Stewart County moved to 2-0 for the early season with a 49-29 victory over White House in the Hall of Fame Classic at Jeff Bennett Gymnasium.

The Lady Rebels got 17 and 12 points from junior guards Kaitlyn Bramlett and Karlee Bramlett, respectively, and 10 points from senior forward Tori Hale, using hot shooting from the outside to pull away to a 20-point halftime lead.

White House trailed just 14-6 at the end of the first, but suffered a tough scoring drought in the second quarter to extend the visitor lead. But in the third, on the shoulders of eight of her game-high 10 points for White House by Avery Droz, the Lady Devils drew within 38-23.

Stewart County put the game away in the fourth, and White House got a basket at the buzzer by junior Hannah Crabtree. She had eight points in the contest. Chloe Hart had seven, and Alexis Bess and Marley Hyde each scored two.

Adalia Hewell and Emma Page added three for the Lady Rebels, with Jenna Williams and Rylee Gafford two each.

White House (0-2) will host Portland during Thanksgiving week on Tuesday, Nov. 24th.
