Bowling: Savannah Blair Finishes 12th in State Tournament

SMYRNA – White House senior Savannah Blair finished 12th overall in the 2021 TSSAA Girls Bowling Individual State Tournament on Wednesday.

With the top six finishers advancing to the state finals, Blair made a push for the top of the standings with a closing game of 202. She finished the day with a 165-149-169-202 set of scores over four games and a 171.3 average and total pin fall of 685.

She was 28 pins from the cut off line of 713. She came into the tournament as the No. 18 overall seed based on average.

Blair and the Lady Devils are not finished, however, as the team will bowl in the 2021 TSSAA Girls Bowling Team State Tournament quarterfinals starting Thursday morning.
