Former White House High School quarterback Caleb Anderson opened the 2020-21 football season for Trinity International, dressing for his first college football game as a freshman on campus.
The 2020 graduate of White House High School played his final season for the Blue Devils in 2019 and signed to play for the Trojans of Deerfield, IL.
Trinity International plays in the NAIA and drew a tough task in its opening game, traveling to Indianapolis to face the No. 2 ranked Marian Knights with just 687 total in attendance Saturday afternoon at St. Vincent Field. The Knights defeated Trinity International 69-12, and Anderson did not appear in the game.
The Trojans play in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference and the Mid States Football Association and play next week in Southfield, MI, at Lawrence Tech.
