Blue Raiders open with 49-0 victory over Pikeville

Lindsey Wilson opened the 2020-21 NAIA football season in a rare February contest, knocking off Pikeville (Ky.) 49-0 in front of just 458 fans at home on Saturday.

The team plays its home games at Blue Raider Stadium in Columbia, Ky., and next week plays at Georgetown, Ky.

Lindsey Wilson is the new home of former White House quarterback Andrew Nixon and wide receiver Logan Neufeld. Neither athlete played in Saturday’s game, but Nixon is a sophomore transfer from Cincinnati Christian University who led the Devils for three years at signal caller through 2018, and Neufeld is a freshman who starred for the Blue Devils last season in 2019.
