The White House High School Speech Team qualified for the state tournament as a collective unit, and five speech team members qualified individually for the state tournament.
Four team members were district champions and one placed second.
Danielle Williams is the district champion in program oral interpretation.
Madison Freeman is the district champion in impromptu.
Sydnee Bailey is the district champion in original oratory.
Caleb Dorris the district champion in humorous and Rebekah Langford is the runner-up, finishing second as White House claimed the top two spots.
The state competition will be held at a later date. White House Speech is coached by Emily Higdon.
