Late Start Propels Devils Past Eagles

White House beat Westmoreland 5-1 on Monday.

White House notched three runs in the fifth inning.  White House scored its runs on a double by Caden Blackford.

Blackford earned the win for White House. The righty allowed four hits and one run over four and two-thirds innings, striking out six.  Kaiden Biggs and Zane Brown entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Zac Sadler took the loss for Westmoreland. The bulldog surrendered five runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out five.

Dustin Palmer went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead White House in hits.

The same two teams play in Westmoreland on Tuesday.
