SOC: Devils Drill Portland 5-1 (Photos)

PORTLAND – Two wins in three days have helped turn around the season quick for the White House Blue Devils soccer team, as the squad went on the road Thursday for a 5-1 win at Portland.

Junior Justin Southall picked his first career hat trick with three goals, scoring twice in a seven-minute span and picking up the third goal in the second half.

White House led 2-0 at the intermission with Southall getting both goals in the first half.

Bryson Harper scored the other two goals and also had three assists in the game. Cason Cooper and Baylor Burrow both got an assist on the Harper goal.

White House improved to 3-6 overall and 2-1 in the district and will head to Macon County on Friday for another district contest.
