Main Street Preps is proud to announce its 2021 All-Sumner County softball teams.

The All-Sumner County softball teams are comprised of eight Sumner County Schools, honoring 26 players. Merrol Hyde is the lone Sumner County high school that does not offer softball, instead, the Hawks Co-Op with Station Camp High School.

Gallatin senior catcher A’Niya Boone has been selected as our Player of the Year while Station Camp junior Madison Croxford is Pitcher of the Year.

Her Bison earned Team of the Year honors for their first place finishing in the District 9-AAA Tournament.

Beech’s Kristi Utley has been selected as Coach of the Year by her peers while Lady Bucs freshman Kaitlin Graham earned Freshman of the Year honors. Westmoreland senior Jordan Bandy was selected as scholar-athlete of the year for her 4.0 GPA and Valedictorian honor.

A great leader on and off the field, Boone finished the 2021 campaign with a .391 batting average, .884 slugging percentage, hit eight home runs, tallied 20 runs batted in and collected 16 extra-base hits. The senior also added District 9-AAA’s MVP honor.

Croxford was the catalyst behind the most successful season in Station Camp softball history, throwing 125 innings and earning a 16-5 win/loss record. Her 2.45 ERA and 141 strikeouts led the Bison to the District 9-AAA Tournament Championship and the school its first-ever region tournament home game.

Graham was selected as Freshman of the Year by opposing District 9-AAA coaches.

Utley and the Lady Bucs finished the season as District 9-AAA runners-up and Region 5-AAA semifinalist. Utley was selected by her fellow district coaches as Coach of the Year for her “ability to establish a winning program”.

Congratulations to all who earned selections to the 2021 All-Sumner County softball teams.
