Wilson Central and John Rose to Host Military Service Academy Day on Sept. 25th

The following post is shared by White House High School guidance office and Anne Curtis on behalf of the United States House of Representatives and Congressman John Rose of the 6th District in Tennessee.

I am honored to host my Third Annual Military Service Academy Day on September 25, 2021. This event will be held at Wilson Central High School, 419 Wildcat Way, Lebanon, TN. Registration will begin at 9:30 AM with presentations beginning at 10:00 AM.

You are invited to attend and to encourage students interested in attending a U.S. Military Service Academy to participate in this event.

As your U.S. Representative for Tennessee’s Sixth Congressional District, I have the Constitutional Authority to nominate students from the Sixth District to each of the four Military Service Academies. The Academies, however, have the final word in deciding which students they accept.

My annual Military Service Academy Day is an event for high school and middle school students that provides information about Military Service Academies and college ROTC programs, including ROTC scholarship opportunities, to students who may have a desire to become a military officer, and to familiarize those students with the qualifications necessary for acceptance.

This 2021 Military Service Academy Day will give students a chance to hear from representatives from all of the Military Service Academies and college ROTC Leadership.

To reiterate, the particulars (i.e., the “what, when, and where”) of this event are as follows:
