WHHS partnering with Slow Down Sumner

By Kris Freeman for White House High School

“Slow Down Sumner” is the collaboration of various public safety partners with a shared mission to improve driver behavior and save lives.

When you choose to speed, you risk losing control of your vehicle and that can result in the loss of life and damage to property.

The Tennessee Highway Safety Office, AAA and The Sumner County Sheriffs Office want to remind you to drive safely and responsibly.

White House High School students took time out Monday morning to take a picture with SRO Josh Barnes of the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office. Also pictured are WHHS assistant principal Kyle Gilliland, Sumner County Sheriff Sonny Weatherford and Sumner County Lt. Tommy Greer.

A banner was placed at the intersection of Tyree Springs Rd., Meadows Lane and Raymond Hirsch Parkway, which are the primary entry points for White House High School traffic, at the corner of the school’s main campus.
